The Summer Reading NYC launch at the New York Public Library Inwood Branch has come and gone and now the contest is going full blast plus work is being done on the LightsCameraRead DVD. Thanks to the over 100 moms, dads, kids and local businesses who participated and made the event a big success.
Next on the Manhattan Kids Guide agenda is Harvest Festival NYC. Yes, before you know it, it will be time for the Trick or Treat NYC parade again. This will mean that Manhattan Kids Guide will be a year old! So much has happened in less than a year!
Also, Alison and Yianni Stamas (founders of "Manhattan Kids Guide") are seeking other creative parents (those in the performing arts or film/web or just generally "creative types") to form a toddlers creative playgroup to possibly meet weekends in the park throughout the rest of the Summer. If you are interested please contact Alison at info@manhattankidsguide.com or Yianni at info@videofilmweb.com.
Finally, as the MKG crew and Magic Neighbors Pirates start thinking about Harvest Festival NYC, one idea being considered is doing an additional fun haunted event that is more geared to the grownups. We'll keep you posted on that one!
